MY BABY IS 33 YEARS OLD TODAY!!!!

Happy Birthday baby!!! I love you very much. Thanks for everything you have helped me through. I couldn't have made it without all my kids. And yes, You all are "perfect"

Here is my son at probably a day old. I was so happy! I can't believe he was so small. Look at him now..So big and handsome!

A few of my friends in Durand gave me a shower after Tommy was born. I wish I had him turned around so you could see his face.

Look how young we all look. It was Sue's first communion day.

This swing was a lifesaver when I wanted to get something done. I probably used it for Jen too.

It was so much different taking care of a baby boy after 3 girls!! I loved it!

Grandpa L. holding a very young Tommy. Years later Tommy would do an interview of both grandma and grandpa L. for school. It's a treasured video.

I love this picture. I wonder what he's thinking about?

The kids loved going to the zoo. We never knew what kind of animal we would find.

I think Cindi looks the most like me. Tommy looks just like his dad now.

So fun and so cute at this age!

Looking at this picture, I wouldn't have thought what they would grow up to be like. Jen and Tommy used to fight like cats and dogs. Cindi was the quiet one who liked to perform in front of people and Sue was the little mother! I'm so proud of all of them!

At a friends house playing with his train set.

I see a little of Bristol here.

I don't know who's cuter-Tommy or Cindi.

Waiting for the bus on his first day of kindergarten.

This is a real lion cub. Tom sr. took Tommy somewhere and came back with this picture.

Tommy didn't get the hang of soccer. He would run up to the ball and then jump over it! It was fun just watching him.

Sue won this firetruck in a drawing or something. She gave it to Tommy. He was a little too big for it but loved it anyway!

Make sure you enjoy your kids while they are young. They grow up way too fast!!

Being in scouts was a fun thing for a little while.

Grandma L. loved being with her grandchildren. I now know why.

MY BABY GIRL!

(Pictures are out of order!) Jen was born on 5/17 at 5:17 in 1973. This was the day she came h0me from Swedish American hospital.
This was the first try at making matching outfits for Christmas.

Jen doesn't look too happy here maybe because she got sick the next day. Again in their matching outfits.

First day of kindergarden at Durand school. She's waiting for the school bus to pick her up.

Family picture at our Durand house. Our dog is Smokey. He got hit by a car in the front of the house.

Grandma L. with 3 of her granddaughters. The girls always loved playing with their dolls.

We always loved when aunts and uncles came to visit. This is uncle Rob talking to Jen. Jen is sitting in the little chair that we used for a carseat!!! This was the kind I used for all the kids. The kind that are used today were not invented yet! How safe was this?

Swimming in the water was always fun.

Sue was a little mom to her younger sisters. I used this high chair for all my kids and also for my 1st 2 grandchildren-Matthew and Lauren. I still have it!

Cute little girl!

It was always easier to bathe the girls altogether and they had fun doing it!

My 3 girls!

Uncle Rob again giving Jen a big hug.

I got a little packet of sunflower seeds from McDonalds that I planted and they came up like this every year!

Just learning how to walk and doing a great job!

Her first birthday. Notice the empty oatmeal box hanging. I put toys in it for the kids to play with.

Snow!! I would get the kids all dressed to go outside and they would stay out for a few minutes and then decided they had to go to the bathroom! I wonder how many snowmen we built in the 10 years we lived in Durand?

Another set of matching outfits. I had a cast on my leg and couldn't finish them so my grandma G. did. The sewing machine I used was one that I put my foot on a gas pedal thing to make it go. They are kind of short aren't they.

Yum!! We loved making popcorn balls! Sometimes we even made them different colors.

I love this picture!

Pigtails always looked cute.

All the girls were in gymnastics. Cindi stayed in for a long time.
